Vidyatel’s technology is based on its revolutionary image-fingerprinting algorithms which mimic the human visual perception. Vidyatel’s frame-accurate algorithms were specifically engineered to cope with severe image distortion, artifacts, extremely short video clips and video mashups. Content Creators can easily fingerprint all their video content using Vidyatel’s Fingerprinting Generator. The system will generate a very small “fingerprints” of the full original video and send copies of the fingerprints, including the appropriate business rules detailing approved usage policies and metadata, to the Vidyatel’s original fingerprint database system.
User-generated content (UGC) services, using the Vidyatel Online Fingerprinting Generator, will fingerprint all user-uploaded content and compares it against the Vidyatel’s original fingerprint database. The Vidyatel search engine will ascertain the legitimate content owner and approved usage policies. Uploaded videos can be of any format, quality and length, with no dependence on the original reference content.
