Vidyatel builds and operates a content identification service. Vidyatel is working with Content Owners and Video Distributors, such as Video Sharing Sites, Mobile Operators, ISPs and MSOs, to identify, monitor, and monetize user-uploaded videos. Vidyatel is managed by a team of industry veterans.

Asher Hershtik Founder & CTO
Asher Hershtik is highly-commended expert in the Video broadcasting and Video post-production industry. In 2006 Asher co-founded Vidyatel and serves as the company CTO Prior to Vidyatel, Asher was involved in Cable and Telco interactive TV projects, evaluating interactive TV software technologies, Set-Top-Boxes and streamers. Asher was the Founder & CEO of ContentWise, a start-up company which developed a unique image-processing technology for monitoring and editing video clips. Prior to ContentWise, Asher served as the CEO of Terra Computers, a subsidiary of EL-Op Israel that developed parallel-processing supercomputer, for vertical market application. In El-Op, Asher led a number of image processing projects in the defense and aerospace industries. Prior to El-Op, Asher worked in the Communication R&D Department of the IDF. Developing sophisticated encryption systems. Asher is the inventor of 7 patents – issues / pending – in the field of TV/Video broadcasting and TV/Video post-production. Asher holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Jerusalem College of Technology.

Eitan Bauch
Eitan Bauch, JVP Studio Partner, has extensive experience in the management of technology companies. Most recently he was Vice President in F5's (NASDAQ: FFIV) Security Business Unit. Prior to F5, Eitan was the CEO of MagniFire, a JVP portfolio company in the security space;  which was acquired by F5 in June 2004 after a successful strategic redirection initiated and led by Eitan. Previously,  Eitan held a variety of senior positions in international technology companies,  including  CEO of Tundo,  a  VOIP  company.  Eitan has a proven track record of cross border strategic leadership and an in-depth understanding of the key elements and processes that are critical to the success of young start-up companies.

Gadi Tirosh
Gadi Tirosh is a JVP General Partner. With his strong background in media related software and internet-based R&D organizations, Gadi is a key member of JVP's media team. His experience has provided him with strong domain expertise in both the consumer infrastructure world and service provider needs. Before joining JVP, Gadi was VP of Product Marketing for NDS (NASDAQ: NNDS), a leader in digital pay-TV systems, supporting some of the largest digital broadcast platforms such as: DIRECTV, BSkyB, CanalDigital and more. At NDS, Gadi defined the product scope and roadmap for NDS by establishing products such as: Conditional access for secure broadcast, Middleware for digital set-tops, and integrated PVR solutions. Previously, Gadi held a variety of positions in software and Internet-based R&D organizations, including Director of Product Marketing at ServiceSoft Corp, a software company providing self-help solutions over the Internet for service organizations.

Gadi holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics as well as an Executive MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.


Ofer Harpak

Ofer Harpak is Vidyatel’s Co-founder and CTO of WiNetworks. Ofer has a record of being a successful entrepreneur since the late eighties. He established, managed, sold and successfully integrated NetWiz, a leading ETH switch vendor, into BATM (LSE: BVC), and then served as CTO of BATM/Telco systems – Metro Ethernet Systems Provider. He was also founder of Vidyatel, engaged in IP streaming video distribution systems. Mr. Harpak brings to WiNetworks extensive knowledge and experience in networks and multi-disciplinary technology projects.
